The food was absolutely top quality and the service was too. The prices are high but you get what you pay for. The Blue Hill mussels were especially delicious.

Red Sky offers a welcome alternative to the bustle of Bar Harbor. The local seafood was fresh and creatively prepared. What a treat to have fresh local lettuce in May! Our dinner was terrific and very non-traditional such as the Maine shrimp in peanut sauce which was excellent. The service was gracious and attentive. Kudos for the emphasis on sustainability....

Dinner with new friends was enojoyable. The food was good and I am very picky.
The well prepared and presented food had above average prices, the service not up to the same standard as the food which is a shame. The food took much longer than I generally like to wait. and could have used more taste, with the exception...

The atmosphere is pleasant, hard working, friendly staff. Quality, fresh ingredients with creativity. Owner very present and attentive- don't take her trail hiking advice unless your extremely fit!
What a special treat this place is. The atmosphere is so cozy with a blazing fire in the fireplace. The bar is large enough to enjoy chatting with friends while your table gets ready. Reservations are pretty important during season because it's everybody's favorite. Elizabeth and James are the owners and make you feel like you're enjoying a meal in...

We had dinner there last year for Valentines, and we can't wait to go back! The food, cocktails were all splendid. The atmosphere was truly romantic, it is a special place!
Maybe it's just me, but for a $30 entree I expect something really mind-blowing. And while this was fine, it was nothing more than that. I would save my money for a special outing somewhere else. The decor, etc. is pleasant enough, but nothing to shout about.
On a recent fall get-away to Southwest Harbor, Maine, my husband and I had a delightful evening at Red Sky. We have been there before, and it never disappoints. The welcome is warm and the service is cordial, informal, as befits the rustic atmosphere of Southwest Harbor, but suitably professional. The decor is attractive, casual and understated, like visiting someone at...

Central location in SouthWest Harbor, small but sufficient bar and I would guess at about 30 covers.
It was busy - end of season; almost full but not bustling or hectic. Two ladies were sat with their backs to the log fire and I really couldn't understand why they were not in pain.
Excellent martinis followed by an interesting and...

Lots of people told us how great Red Sky was... Our meal was good, not much more than that. Lobster Risotto was expensive and not that tasty, dishes were a little bland.
