Great choices and flavors. Very casual. You can show up in your bike shorts! It's a "don't miss" destination for great eats on The Cape!
We love the food and drinks here - everything is always tasty. Service is pretty quick but this location can be crowded. Be prepared to stake out a table. Definitely worth the effort though.
We biked on the rail trail and were looking for a place for lunch. Guapo's was very convenient and had an outdoor area perfect for our 3 year old to run around and wear off some energy. The tacos were wonderful (freshly made shells) and the guacamole was stellar. Very quiet (weekday just off peak), and I think this location... More
Everything is good here and very satisfying. It is mandatory to pay a visit here every year. I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered from here. Though, for tacos and burgers, etc. this place is slightly overpriced. Maybe they could work on that.
We were on the cape for a week in August, and picked up from Guapos one saturday night. For some reason we werein the mood for mexican, and this place was 5 minutes away. We ordered nachos, flatulas, and a burrio with extra chips and guac. At any price the food was great! At their prices it was probably the... More
We found Guapo's to be great. Fresh ingredients, imaginative combinations and friendly service. We enjoyed the tacos( Shrimp, Fish, Ground Beef for kids). The surf and turf burrito is good as are the margaritas. I was worries that you could only have adult Sri Los on the deck, but a table quickly opened up and we were all set. Will... More
When you are ready for a break from lobster, Guapo's has great fresh ingredients. The vibe on the outdoor patio is terrific. However, I found the food to be quite haphazardly assembled. I fully expect that Mexican isn't the neatest food to eat, but I found a lot of what we ate to be excessively dripping, breaking and falling apart,... More
Guapo's is an oasis right on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Really cool place; try the Mexican Railroad. Only gripe: They need 2 beertenders.
Ate at both locations two days in a row. The fish burrito was loaded with cod and topped with a light lime sauce, very good. Steak burrito was good, along with a great rum punch! Service in both places was quick, manager at the downtown location was very helpful.
