This was a very disappointing visit. The service was very poor and the food was mediocre at best. I had Fish Journee which was much more stuffing than fish and the flavor was very bland. We will not return.

My girlfriend and I stayed here together for dinner. Despite it being in the dead of winter, we took a dip in the pool and and the jacuzzi. Though I'm sure there wasn't alot of staff on considering the season, we still had very good service. The food was above average and the eating environment was peaceful.
We dined at the Colonial House on Monday night, October 8th. Our food was wonderful. We started with complimentary vegetables and cheese dip while we browsed the menu. We had a birthday in the family and I was designated to organize the event. I chose the Colonial House Inn for the family dinner (party of nine). The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience made me look good.
Each time I have been there I smell the chlorine from the pool and it doesn't do much for the appetite. The food is okay.
Well prepared fresh seafood and friendly, attentive waitstaff while not rushing us.

Wow, did that give us cause to worry, especially with that early closing! Because we...
