Picked up an order and attempted to sample the menu as much as possible. Although the restaurant was busy, the take out order was ready on time. The rotisserie chicken was a little dry but the smoked beef was delicious. The roasted yams with andouille and romaine/mozzarella salad were a little plain but the grits with cheddar and crispy yuca... More

Three of us went for Saturday brunch. Good beer selection on tap. Interesting food choices and something for just about anyone - even little kids. I had a sandwich special with a barbecued pork on roll and side salad. The taste of the sandwich was fantastic and the salad was also nicely done. All three of us enjoyed our meals.... More

I am shocked by how horrible the food and and service was, I attended Brasa with some friends for a birthday dinner; are service was slow and disrespectful, every time I asked the waiter questions about the menu options he would roll his eyes. Okay I try not stage my judgment on staff, but our food was cold, beans were... More

Brasa has one of the best sandwiches around - the pulled pork sandwich. This isn't just a bun with some slow cooked meat - it's a carefully crafted sandwich with slow roasted pork, thoughtfully selected condiments (who would've thought ginger mayo and cilantro?), and picked vegetables. They also have weekend brunch selections such as a sweet potato waffle or huevos... More

I have been to the St Paul site for at least twenty times since they opened, and never had a bad meal or a bad experience. For the first time, I went to the Minneapolis site and other than the menu it was hard to know that it was the same restaurant. This restaurant is small with limited seating which... More

I love Brasa all year around! Great for takeout or eat in. Favorite season is in the summer when the doors are open and the patio is buzzing. Go with a group and order multiple items on the menu and share. Don't leave without tasting the pork and green sauce. Found the recipe in Food and Wine last summer and... More

Nothing ever disappoints here. Excellent, friendly service + fantastic food + totally reasonable prices = a place I constantly visit and always introduce to out-of-town guests. One request: please bring back the pineapple upside down cake! Tip: lunch and early evening or late evening are the least busy times. I've never waited too long for a table though.

I went here with my boyfriend and another couple and we had a great dining experience. We did have to wait for almost 45 minutes to get a table, however once we did we were not disappointed. We all had some drinks and decided to order a bunch of things and all try them. That is definitely the way to... More

Go with friends so you can order everything on the menu. Nothing is bad, but especially try the Pork, Greens, Yuca, and Beef. Amazing casual food from an award winning chef. Pitchers of cold beer go down great, and this is open air when its nice out. Great food and great value

Brasa is delicious. Not much else needs to be said. Go with a few people and try a number of the options... all of the meats were awesome, cornbread, beans, guacamole.. all of it was fantastic. The service can be a bit slow and you definitely dont go there for the presentation of the food. Just go to pig out.
