Mother's Day, Sunday brunch was outstanding from the wait staff to the food. The selections are varied so no one is disappointed. We had the blackfish which was excellent even compared to the restaurants in my home of Naples, FL. Daughter had the chicken and waffles also an excellent dish. What I really appreciate about Char, in addition to the well-prepared food, is the excellent service. The service makes you feel special. A great place to go for a special occasion. I am never disappointed when I go to Char.

Even thought they are high as heck I love their crab cakes. Me and my sister will go to sit at the bar just to eat crab cakes. LOWER THE PRICE, lol

The staff were extra friendly. Very nice atmosphere and the food was wonderful. Desserts were delicious. Waiters friendly and helpful. Restrooms clean and the towels to dry hands were so cute.

This is a great restaurant: first, the "no-filler" crab meat was the best crab meat I've ever had, but the shrimp and grits were also lovely as an appetizer. I have to admit I was a bit put off by their high prices, but their quality is extremely high, proving you get what you pay for.

Went there for dinner, had ex- governor Ronnie Musgrove open door for us. Good first impression. Great atmosphere, great food , great Service, but pricey. Had hamburger and my guest had salmon. Both were great. Burger was $18

I enjoyed a great supper here last night. As expected the Valentine Day crowd was present but the staff, clad in white jackets and ties, were handling things efficiently. This is a lovely restaurant that I look forward to a return visit when I am in the neighborhood. Food is fantastic.
