Gotta get Grandma's stolen brownie sunday. We are originally from Springfield, MO where they are based, but currently live in St. Louis so always take the opportunity to stop in when we can.

We took our grandkids to Andy's Frozen Custard while at the Lake of the Ozarks. Their custard was unbelievable. First of all, you had the choice of Vanilla or Chocolate. It was by far the richest, creamiest that we have had. There were so many choices of toppings, it was hard to decide. You will not be disappointed!
They have a large selection to choose from. All the items that we have tried have been great. You will not be disappointed. Opened year around, does not close when the tourist season is over.
Nice variety of available treats. Something for young and old alike. very good flavors and many to choose from. Add on's fresh and tasty.
I really enjoyed the custard at Andy's. It's no Ted Drewes but it was about as close as I've come in the lake area. I would probably put it close to Randy's as well, but I love Randy's because it is kind of an old lake tradition. I definitely enjoy going to Andy's though since they carry different flavors.
Fresh fruit or they do not have it. The custard is so dense and delicious. It is about a 30 minute drive for us, where we stay at the lake, but, it is always worth the drive. Plan on getting some extra exercise to work it off. It's delicious.
We love this frozen custard. Always friendly fast service. There could be alittle more for the price but the quality never dissapoints. Try the Raspberry Sundae or Blackberry Concrete- both a favorite and refreshing last course.
Andy's at the Lake of the Ozarks is a favorite stop when at the lake. Having grown up in St Louis the gold standard is Ted Drewes and Andy's compares favorably
The custard here was pretty good. Not the best but pretty good. The prices are kind of high but you expect that for good frozen custard. The service was not great and the outside dining area is plagued by Mosquitos. Will have to try Randy's and compare.
It's wonderful. Don't be fooled by imitations or similar named places. This is the place to go! It had been raining and we just finished shopping in a massive crowd. We were all a little grumpy. That is UNTIL we tasted our treats! It was so good. I had the pretzel crunch with caramel. Oh yes. There was a line...
