Gourmet Gals owner and team is amazing. They surprised my company with lunch last Friday. My team ate every bite claiming to be the best lunch they've had in a very long time. My company had Gourmet Gals make a blueberry coffee cake for one...of our clients who said it was the best they have had. If you need personal catering or professional catering services in Big Sky - I highly recommend Gourmet Gals for your next event.More

We ordered 2 dinners from them and they were really good! Also, we ordered a birthday cake that was excellent.

My husband and I had stopped by to try out the gelato at this location. They were not busy at all and a lady came out of the back room and asked the young man at the counter to help us with the gelato. The...thing is we hadn't even mentioned that we wanted gelato as sandwiches were also on the menu, but indeed gelato was what we wanted. The young man was polite and scooped out a large serving size of the gelato. He then went to ring us up and needed help with the transaction. The lady (who I assume was one of the owners) came out from the back to help him. She then said it was cash or check. Unfortunately we only had debit/credit available at the time and did not have the necessary cash available. We were taken back as most (if not all) eateries/shops/cafes in the Big Sky area would accept all forms of payment. There was no signage that I could see that specified cash/check only... She mentioned that an ATM was around the corner, however we did not wish to pay an ATM fee for gelato...which in and of itself was quite pricey. She also mentioned that if we could not get the cash today then we could come back the next day and give it to her. We decided not to to complete the purchase of the gelato which had not yet been handed to us. She then said that she would have to throw it away and rudely said just to go ahead and take it. I thought this was absurd as there have been many cafes/dairies which were able to put back ice cream/gelato into the same bins if it had not been handed yet to the client. Anyway, we did go ahead and take the gelato since it would have been wasted. The next morning I brought the cash I had on hand back to the cafe to pay for the gelato. The store was closed so I had to drop it off with a business next door (the owner of this store had assisted us the previous day) and they said that they would make sure she received it. We were on our way to the airport and could not wait for the cafe to open...Needless to say I was not impressed with the unprofessional behavior and curtness of this lady and we will not be visiting them again.More

We stopped here on the way out of town after buying a bunch of shirts at the State store next door. The sandwiches were excellent. My kids had the Italian, the pulled pork, my wife had the turkey with huckleberry spread (I forget the name)....I did try everyone's, (father's prerogative) and they were all excellent. I had the chicken salad which was good, but not up to the standards of the Panini's that everyone else ordered. Guess I just made the wrong choice. Prices were a little high I thought at $7.50 a sandwich, but I would definitely eat there again.More

So, you saw reviews from excellent to terrible. We live here and really like this place. Dine in or take out. We mostly take out. Not fancy, but a lot of really good soups and sandwiches, great pulled pork, great lasagna. It's eccentric, but for...goodness sake, it's Big Sky.More

Highly recommend the fresh crepes with blueberry compote or whatever is fresh out of the oven. Andrew prepared my crepes and provided great service throughout my dining experience. Really enjoyed the music, atmosphere and great selection of foodie magazines and books to read.

My husband and I live in Big Sky and really wanted to like this place. We walked in to an empty store with one girl behind the counter and ordered 2 sandwiches to go. After placing our order the place began to fill up and...she became obviously in over her head. It took 30 minutes to get our sandwiches and during this time the owner(s) came in and one of them rudely asked us if we needed something. I replied that we were waiting for a to go order, and neither of these ladies bothered to help out their overwhelmed employee. I got the Cuban and my husband got the Pulled Pork. If we hadn't been on the road we would have returned them and asked for our money back. Both were poorly constructed using the cheapest of ingredients, and mine was missing the cheese and pickles. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere esle.More

I ate at this restaurant on my visit to Big Sky last month, and the food was terrible. My wife and I were both very unsatisfied, but what made it worse was the service. I believe it was the owner, and the woman was extremely...rude and unpleasant. Highly recommend going elsewhere!More
