Awesome and fresh food. Very tasty. A bit of a disappointment that the on line menu was not up to date. The happy hour is listed until 6 pm. We ordered drinks at 5:40 pm but was told happy hour ended at 5:30 so we...were charged full price.More

A hangout for locals, we luckily got in without a wait. Eclectic decor with a menu to match. My chopped lamb steak with roasted potatoes, wilted greens, and tomato-based sauce was ample and delicious. Her basil shrimp with risotto was tasty but had only 4...shrimp, which were overdone. A French chard. was excellent. Owned by the same family for more than 20 years. Looking forward to the next time.More
This was our first time visiting and we went back twice! The Cubano panini was so good! It had the right amount of meat to bread ratio and was pressed perfectly. The mixed greens salad with chicken was a staple for me. Very fresh. We...typically do not order tuna, unless we are in a coastal town, HOWEVER, the poke bowl and tuna katsu were amazing!!! I am a new fan!More
Went in for a late lunch, early dinner. Service was excellent! Food was reasonably priced and delicious! Super friendly staff, even recommended a great spot for a short, scenic hike!
The BYOM burger is life changing! Best burger on the mountain. The house club panini was pretty good as well.
We managed to get in and were seated right away (no reservations). The poutine was very tasty and they had a nice selection of local beers. Two of us had burgers and were really happy with them. Friendly, fast service in a place that we...heard about from locals and TripAdvisor. Worth the trip.More
The best burger in town! Server is always so kind and helpful. Sometimes, unfortunately, you may have to wait a little while for your order.
Heard about this "amazing" restaurant from a local. Went with my family of four around 7:30, they were not busy. From the moment we walked in we did not feel welcome (tourists from east coast). I tried to ask the bartender what a drink was...she had made, she snarled at me. After ten minutes someone reluctantly seated us. We proceeded to sit there for 15 minutes, watching the other 3 tables that had customers be waited on. Finally someone came to begrudgingly take our order. We heard the burgers were amazing. They were not. The food was underwhelming to say the least. The server barely spoke or engaged with us (but was friendly as could be to the locals seated beside us, to the point that the locals said something to us about it). To top it all off, we were overcharged (on already high prices), so I had to deal with additional attitude from the server on that. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to eat.More
We had lunch at this restaurant because of the good rating. I'm not sure some of these people ate at the same restaurant we had the misfortune to experience. To begin with, the service was slow and the waitress was obviously overworked. She forgot our...drink order until we reminded her. The food took forever even though we visited during off hours. We ordered an Asian noodle dish for $16. Basically what it turned out to be is a bowl of tasteless noodles with a hint of vegetables. No flavor! The Cuban sandwich came on a flat dry roll. The meat on the sandwich lost the thickness contest to the accompanying pickle chips. The fries were dry and burnt. There must be better restaurants in the areaMore
Thanks! We’re all over worked because, don’t know if you’ve heard, there’s a National Restaurant worker’s shortage. The waitress was probably my wife or daughter because they are the ones working the most. Prices reflect the fact that all of our groceries have gone up...More
My husband and I visited for lunch mid day. We were greeted right away and sat at the bar. The space is cool (shared w a bike shop) and their happy hour prices couldn't be beat - especially for Big Sky! We ordered the chicken...bacon jam sandwich and the burger. The ingredients were fresh and we both thought the burger was top notch (esp their special sauce). Highly recommend!!More
After checking Yelp for a rating we settled on lunch at By Word of Mouth. Big mistake. At first Jami L. (at least that was the name on the receipt) was curt and unwelcoming. As pleasant as a mafia funeral. I thought “well, everyone can...have a bad day”. As the stay continued it became obvious she hated her job and every day was a bad day. Now to the food- the club and cubano sandwiches were decent, sweet calamari was mediocre, soba noodles weren’t as good as store bought add water noodles, and the topper was the ahi poke bowl. I know, a poke bowl in Big Sky Montana? Live and learn. It was as salty as that big lake in Utah- inedible. Gave my family bites just to make them as unhappy as I was and to watch their faces scrunch up. And it was supposed to have sweet chili and sweet soy flavoring . Maybe 1.5 ounces of ahi. Prices- obnoxious. Soba with tofu- 22, poki 20- sandwich 14.More
Thank you. Prices reflect the cost of living in a resort town. Glad to see you tried all of the dishes our regular customer come in for time and time again.
We had the olive bread appetizer along with Sweet Chili Calimari, and Pacific salad, All were very tasty. Our entree was the Chopped Lamb Steak. Drinks add quita a bit to the bill, but the Saint, the Sweet Basil cocktails were very good. The Hoola...Hopped beer was only $5. This is a nice casual mid range restaurant that I recommend!!More
Thank you
Amazing good, amazing service. So glad another restaurant didn’t work out for us because this was awesome!
I had the sashimi tuna on a salad and my husband had the bangers and mash. We both loved our meals. So good! Sophie the bartender was super friendly.
Tried this restaurant but not that impressed. The decor, dining space and tables reminded me of a fast food restaurant. I would think they could add some white table clothes to match the prices and add more of a warmth to the space. The only...thing I can give a compliment on was they served the best Basil martini I have ever tasted and the waitress was awesome.More
