A favorite in our family...wide selection, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Good soups too! Always interesting art on the walls too.
Love Docs for lunch, Great fresh sandwiches and fresh soup. Good prices too. All the sandwiches are named from different doctors in the movies, tv shows or real life. Fun to pick a new one out each time.
We stopped in for a quick lunch on the way to the airport to head home. The special was a half roast beef sandwhich and half soup. Both were great - ample filling in the sandwhich and the white bean chili was delicious! Very pleasant place for a quick, high quality lunch.
The sandwiches have fun names, and some are quite good. Oddly enough, they seem to really try on some sandwiches, and just allow others to be mediocre. The first time I visited, I enjoyed one of the good ones, but I've been back a few times since and only some of the sandwiches are good. I'd recommend the Merc down... More
The staff rocks, the soups rock, the sandwiches rock, the cookies make my heart sing. Really, it's a great sandwich shop and I've often lamented they don't have more hours because I'd happily patronize them into the evening hours. Eat it.
This is a quaint sandwich shop in the heart of Missoula's downtown. It was exactly the kind of lunch we wanted after a hike to the top of the "M" on the University's campus. The prices were quite fair for the quality of the food. My husband had the Doctor Hawkeye Pierce which was a hot roast beef sandwich with... More
A team bursting with energy and a truly bizarre menu that is 'doc' themed. They split a wrap for us at no extra charge, which was delicious, and the rum cake simply dissolved. A great find
My father owned a small delicatessen and liquor store named Doc’s. It was only appropriate to try out Doc’s Gourmet Sandwiches in downtown Missoula. We found the salads we were looking for in Doc’s. The Garden Salad was made with fresh romaine with an assortment of seasonal fresh veggies. We selected the balsamic vinaigrette for the salad which was awesome.... More
Have eaten at Doc's numerous times over the past 4 years. It's always clean, the cashier/order taker is pleasant and efficient and the food is wonderful. A huge array of sandwiches about equally divided between hot and cold. Hangover stew along with another soup of the day and a daily special are on the menu. The Doctor Kildare sandwich (turkey... Stopped in for a quick lunch with my daughter and her newborn. While not fancy by any means, you order at the counter and take your seat, and out comes delicious soups and very tasty sandwiches with very fresh local bread. There is a wide selection of daily soups and many sandwiches to choose from. Great place for lunch with... More
