Well this is the place in Dover to Take your Date and it will impress without empting your wallet to bad. Nice atmosphere great food and drinks friendly service a must try I must say.
Stopped in for lunch today (10-28) with four buddies, I picked this place because of the good reviews. Our waitress also tended the bar without neglecting either area, she did a super job. Our bill came to just under $200.00 including the tip, expensive lunch for a bunch of guys just having a sandwich, or a shrimp plate, and a... More
Food at this place was good. I had their BBQ burger and the Wife had the BBQ chicken pizza. Both were excellent. The other entrees proved to be a little pricey for us but these dishes were a good value. Service was fine and the restaurant had a clean, albeit generic feel to it.
Great friendly servers, food is awesome, but the beer and the regulars on Monday & Tuesday's, heart warming.
I occasionally go to Christopher's Third Street Grille for a lunch. Service is always good. I often order their Fresh Atlantic Haddock or Burger in the Raw Salad with grilled salmon. I was never disappointed. My favorite soup is their Hot Sausage Soup.
Staying I downtown and looking for a late night bite, read some reviews on Christopher's and it was around the corner so off we went, very nice place with wonderful atmosphere, the service was superb, the meals were very good and I was shocked the prices were so reasonable, the Steak Diane was 1/2 the price of where I live.... Less likely to be populated by the student crowd or the early-birders, offering tasty food without being overpriced. Great drink specials but the bartendar always has an interesting cocktail... More
We visited on a Saturday afternoon- started with a Quesadilla appetizer which at first didn't look that impressive but the flavor was terrific. Hubby had a bbq bacon burger which he really enjoyed, nice bun, cooked perfectly, just enough sauce to taste but not enough to drowned it. I had the most amazing lobster sandwich on a croissant..nice big chunks... More
My husband and I had lunch around 1:30; not only was the food amazing but the service was phenomenal! We got the bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer, I had the cobbler sandwich with fries, he had the BBQ bacon burger with sweet potato fries and to top all that off we split a piece if peanut butter pie. Our... More
