My husband and I tried Bonta for our date night on Saturday and could not have been more impressed. He called in the afternoon for a reservation and they were able to accommodate us for that night. I would definitely recommend a reservation. The food was beyond amazing here! We split an appetizer & salad, then each ordered an entrée.... More

I've been to Bontas several times but this last visit the food seemed even better than before. I always liked it but this time every one of us (4) truly loved their food. The ambience is great - one of the best features of the restaurant is it's homey but elegant atmosphere. It is not a typical Italian restaurant and... More

Good quality ingredients nicely prepared. The dining room is warm and inviting. Service is attentive but not obtrusive. I enjoyed outstanding short ribs and a delightful asparagus salad. A bit off the beaten path but easy to find but actually quite convenient if you are traveling on I-95. Simply use your navigation system.

When you want or need a change from the everyday in and out that perrmiates most eating establishments try dinner here. The food ,ambiance and service are beyond comparison. You can just stop for a cocktail without having a big meal because they serve smaller portions in the lounge area. We stop in when the spirit moves us and have... More

If you haven't stopped into Bonta yet, you are missing out! The food is exceptional and the service is great! It's off the beaten track but worth the drive plus they have free parking. If you like fish, the Halibut was amazing, I have ordered it the last three times I was there and my husband loves the short ribs... More

If your driving up 95 past Hampton make a point to grab this amazing value brunch at Bonta. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is just as good as dinner and it's hands down better than anyplace else in Hampton, Exeter, Portsmouth and other towns near and far. For $21.95 there is a three course Sunday brunch with choices such... More

What a wonderful evening! The atmosphere was welcoming, with nice building materials, lighting, seating, and nicely spaced tables. It was nice to be able to have a conversation without competing with the noise level of the restaurant. The waitress was attentive without be overbearing. The menu provided something for everyone and the meals well prepared and tasty. The portions were... More

We visit new Hampshire each year and continue to enjoy excellently prepared food and good salads. The menu is good though a little shortbon fush choices but good pastas. Not a typical Italian restaurant. There is a very good wine list with some surprising choices available from some smaller excellent California vineyards. Very good attentive service in pleasant restaurant surroundings.... More

I keep saying I won't return to Bonta, then someone tells me that there is a new chef or a new manager, etc, etc, and it has improved. After yet another visit over the 4th of July holiday, I stick by my original review that is the food is pretty good, the drinks overpriced and the service neutral. We did... More
