My wife had the Fried Haddock and Shrimp. Found the batter to be heavy and greasy. We had takeout so we can't comment on the service or atmosphere. Nice location.
We stopped for lunch before going to our hotel. This is not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter, wait for your order and then sit down to eat. The alcohol has to be ordered separately which is a bit annoying as you need to pay twice. We ordered a plate of 1lb fish-in ships and it was... More
My husband, sister and myself make sure everytime we visit Hampton Beach, we go for our big seafood dinner out at Little Jack's restaurant. I order the lobster and steamers, my husband get the Primerib and my sister gets the scallops and chowder.. Terrific food, the price is average, but we totally get what we paid for. I recommend this... More
We have been here before. Food is good, a little pricey, but good. They have lobster, seafood, burgers, salads, chicken, steak & prime rib. They run out of prime rib very quickly. It must be good. Have never had it, always out when I get here. You MUST get here before sundown, otherwise the bugs (mosquitoes, beetles, nats etc..) will eat... More
We ae real hungry by the time we arrived after biking 10+ miles. Our food was edible but not great. Previously we had enjoyed great meals.
While looking for a good lobster roll with passed by this restaurant. offering an outside roof terasse facing the ocean it looked promissing. the dinning room is fill with fisherman tools, records and accessories. The uniqueness comes from the pre-ordering at the outside counter then sitdown while eaiting for your order number. tgen you go pickup yiur own foid to... More
While vacationing at Hampton Beach, our family always has to have dinner at Little Jack's at least once. The order process moved quickly and our food was ready ina reasonable amount of time. We found a table on the upper deck to accommodate our party of 8, which was nice since it was a busy weekend night. 6 of us... More
The place is unique - you order outside and eat inside. They do serve alcohol which is a plus although the selection is quite limited. My wife and I ate "turf" there and the food seemed over cooked but she did commet that the clams she had the night before were great.
The food was simple amazing, we got two lobsters, one combo dish of fried calamari, sole fish and onion rings, one fish and chips and two beers and we payed 60 dollars. There is a very nice terrace on the roof overlooking the ocean (from faraway). Just be aware that there is no service, you have to make a queue... More
very large portions, very, very fair prices, like the idea of placing order and being able to sit where you like when you're number was called. Definitely a great place to have dinner, would definitely return!
