Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. Past few times I've had horrible chefs and been served bland, over cooked meats. Definitely not worth the money.
We have been to Hibachi's many times, mostly for the show for the kids. The food is average, not really worthy of the cost, but you are paying (sort of) for the show. The amount you get is just right for a meal, but for the price you might expect to get some leftovers to take home. We usually get... More
Let me start off by saying that I have been to Hibachi a great many times and it has been my personal favorite for large party gatherings and have never had an issue before. So, I Just got off the phone with their manager to make a reservation for next Saturday for 30 people that want to eat at their... More
Good entertainment, good food, good staff. Be preparedto sit with others around the grill if you dont have a party of 12. We didnt have a reservation and only had to wait about 30 minutes for a seat at the grill. We had two drinks in the lounge, dont expect much from the wine list, beer list ok not great,... More

This is one of my favorite resturants while in the portsmouth area. The chef cooks at your table. The meal is always tasty & hot. many selections to pick from, including sushi. The have a lunch menu daily. enjoy.

The only negative about this restaurant is the wait to be seated on busy nights or if you don't have a reservation. Consistently pleasant and efficient service. The Japanese chefs entertain you as they prepare your food in front of you tableside. The steak and seafood are prepared to order. Birthdays serve a special surprise ending so tell your server....
