Not sure about all the hype. Food was fine, owner was nice but the service was standard. Reasonable price.
We first noticed this place after returning down the beach from another restaurant; it was packed late in the evening. We went there the next day for lunch and found out why. This is a family owned restaurant that just keeps churning out good food at great prices. We kept coming back for the 5 days we stayed in Phu... More
Called in for a Breakfast, Snack and evening meal. Recommend a visit! This place always seemed busy - food was nice and well presented. Nice chilled atmosphere - great just being able to be on the sand; listening to some good tunes! So easy to keep going back as you know your food will be good!
This is Sarah's (my wife) favourite lunch time venue. The food is very tasty but the waiters are a bit "blind" and if i'm honest the serving process needs improvement. On a couple of occasions we had to wait too long due to being "overlooked" Don't get me wrong - this is not a serious problem, only something they should... More
I tried Phuong Binh for the first time when I was just walking along the beach one day. They had great tunes playing, the beer looked frosty cold, and hey it's on the beach! Well that lunch was to be the first of many meals; the food and the atmosphere were addicting. Every single meal I had was excellent -... More
I have a nice holiday in Phu quoc island. My friends recommended me to book at Phuong binh House and it 's really a good choice. It's near the beach. The architecture was designed by traditional style. the atmosphere was peaceful and claim. The food were delicious, especially the ingredient were fresh. I extremely love BBQ fish. The dessert was... We stayed in the bungalows so are here a few times - there's some international choices if you want them and they're great but for me it was all about the local food - especially the fantastic fresh seafood. Calamari, prawn curry, BBQ fish. Great drink selection too, and right by the sea with candles lighting your way at night.... More
Just returned from 8 nights in Phu Quoc staying at La Veranda (next door) We only came by it by chance going for a lunchtime drink and decided to have something to eat. We ended up eating there most lunchtimes and evenings and pretty much giving the restaurant at La Veranda a miss. The drinks are cheap (a beer will... More
We loved this place so much we ate here two of our three nights on the island, and only that because we found it on our second night. The beach setting is idyllic, we stopped by for a couple of beers to watch one of the most perfect sunsets. The sight of the food being served and the chilled atmosphere... More
The food was great, the atmosphere lovely and the surroundings idyllic. The only thing they can get better at is to keep some order in who takes the orders, who serves them, who gets the money and who returns the change. However, a restaurant with this good food and wonderful music- it's well worth a visit!
