The food was great. Homemade sausage on homemade Italian pasta...so good! The staff was very friendly. The blue-cheese crumble dressing on my salad was delicious.

Best real Italian food in the north country! Reasonable prices and fantastic friendly service. Fun retro atmosphere. The screened porch is great in the summer. This restaurant is a Saranac Lake tradition since long before the invasion of the chain restaurants. No trip home to Saranac Lake is complete without a meal at the Belvedere!

The Belvedere Restaurant is a great old eatery in downtown Saranac Lake, NY. The service is very friendly and the food is wonderfully presented. A fine basic Italian home-style establishment.

You don't have to over think your opinion, just belly up or have a seat, you can enjoy the time spent here. The food is what you expect from family owned establishment so if your mother was a great cook you'll love it if not well !

Popular with the locals. Family owned for many, many years. Menu is basic Italian American. A nice screened porch for summer dining. Good food at a decent price. Menu never really changes and place could probably be updated. But overall a decent meal.
