The wines are very cold and the German food is awesome! It is a very nice place to visit. Being able to sit on the deck and enjoy a bottle of wine and look at the lake in the distant is very relaxing! The people that work there are very friendly! Love going there!!

Food is pricey for what you get, $11 for a turkey sandwich on rye. Wines were ok, server was nice. Would go back for the view and wines

I haven't been here for a few years but I would come for fondu . The fondu was okay but the bread was terrible - flimsy & they tried toasting it but major failure . The heat source for the fondu was a little oil candle not enough heat to keep the cheese melted . Service was good they were... More

Delicious food and the staff is just wonderful!! In September we had our rehearsal dinner at Castel Grisch and we could not have been more pleased! Theresa the coordinator is amazing, and made sure every detail panned out just how we were hoping! She went beyond what we could have imagined and the night flowed smoothly and was just wonderful.... Great staff and this lil' old winery and a nice selection of whites with a few reds, too. But do not skip the restaurant. I don't usually look for German restaurants, but we gave it a try since one of our party grew up on German food. We were all pleased to find a host of buffet options ranging from... More

We really enjoyed stopping here for a little wine tasting. The service was great. They were very accomodating and the wine selection was wonderful. They also had great cheese there for us to sample and we ended up buying it to take with us for the rest of the day. (It's a type of cheese that doesn't need to be... More

Our server was so lovely and the food was too. Not the best Austrian food, but definitely yummy. Has a cozy feel and really great desserts.

We had the buffet Food was not good.....overdone, cold, tasteless, soup was way to salty. The buffet waitress- who stood behind the buffet and moved along with us as we navigated the various dishes (I presume to answer questions or help guests) made us feel very uncomfortable. Almost the feeling that we shouldn't take too much.....a bit weird. Not a... More

The service was excellent the food not that much. I was expecting for REAL German food and was different but not as good as the real one. We had the buffette which would be really good if you never have have German food cook by a German.

The food was bad - overcooked. It is very expensive and was just not that good for the cost of the meal. Service was not that great either and you felt rushed toward the end of the evening, as the staff was cleaning up around you to let you know they were ready to call it a night.
