That's all I can really say, is that I always love whatever it is I order from here. I've been for lunch as well as dinner. Excellent food, good atmosphere. Love everything including the bread you get before the meal! more
We really enjoyed our visit to Mama Ricotta's last night. On a cool night, we lucked out and got an outside table right next to the fireplace. The menu was varied, and had selections for many tastes. The Tuscan Salad was delicious, and the family sized Rigatoni was such a huge serving that it probably could have easily served four.... more
Mama Ricotta's always has good food. We love to sit on the enclosed patio next to the fireplace. It's warmer & quieter out there. Although we've never been disappointed when we've dined in, we got take out there once & they didn't take as much care with that. It looked like they just slopped it all in. more
Best in charlotte. Prices are too low for the food.... Great place, service unequaled and real italian food. Bravo! more
We typically get takeout from this very good Italian restaurant. It seems more "Americanized" than nearby Dolce, with more red sauce choices and pizza. (Maybe the owner is just more southern Italian than northern Italian. The food is far superior to nearby Frankie's, so don't get confused.) Americanized Italian food and excellent service. Went for business lunch. I tried one of the specials. Chicken lasagna. Should have stayed with the main menu. But you never know unless you try. Mama Ricottas is fantastic and the best Italian restaurant in Charlotte, hands down. No one makes better spagetti and meatballs than Mama Ricottas! I LOVE the penne ala vodka as well.
