Four of us went on a delayed Mothers Day dinner to this restaurant. Our friends had been here before but it was a first for us. We were greeted promptly and our server, David, was excellent throughout the evening. We sat in a booth in the inside back room. I tried a couple oyster shooters and they were excellent and... More

This is by far our favorite restaurant for dinner. Perhaps it is a little more expensive than expected for the area, but the food and service justify the difference. Every meal we have had at the Copper Door has been excellent, and the seasonings are spectacular. No boring sides acompany any meal, there is always a delectable flavor to whatever... More

This restaurant specializes in a menu with a twist. The food is always good, the wait-staff attentive. It is a bit pricey for the area, but is far above most others around.

What a pleasant surprise tucked in the mountainside community of Hayesville, NC. The chef Dennis was transplanted from the heart of New Orleans and brought with him all the flavors and romance of the best of the best. Service beyond compare will keep you coming back. Ambiance and great food are standard fare.

One of few upscale eateries in the area. Food is excellent, service is good and nice ambience. Can't go wrong here. Party of 4 each ate a different entrée and all were excellent.

We had the pleasure of having dinner here tonight and the food and service were excellent. Filet was perfectly cooked and could be cut with a fork. Tuna was some of the best we have ever eaten. All sides were cooked just right and were delicious. Will definitely be returning to The Copper Door.

We went to the Copper Door for a birthday celebration. They assured the person who made the reservation that our tables would be adjacent to each other. They didn't say that we would be placed in booths in a enclosed breezeway with space heaters. One of the walls was a heavy plastic that covered screen windows that let in cold... More

We are very sorry you were disappointed in your dining experience. We do book up quickly for weekend nights and made the patio available as an option for your party. Service is high priority and our servers must demonstrate proficiency before being assigned to wait tables. We have discussed the party with your server and the staff that assisted her... More

Can't say anything bad about this beautiful restaurant. The most unique drink, jal'peno colada! Crabcake and escargot for apps. I had the redfish special, way beyond my expectations. Scallops, filet, and pork tenderloin were all excellent. Service was beyond excellent! Must try!
