We love Awful Arthur's. We've visited every time we have been here and have always enjoyed it. The food is good as are the drinks. The atmosphere is fun. The only downside is that the service is very spotty. Good place to go, however.

We ate here one night, There were 6 adults and one Teen. Three of us shared a Peck of Oysters which was over 40 some oysters! My favorite at Awful Arthurs is the steamed tray of seafood. I change up what I order and have never been disappointed. Tt was delicious as usual. I had the oysters, clams and shrimp steamed tray. And of course a cold beer. Always a delicious meal.

Loved, loved, loved this place! Unpretentious. Just good food and friendly service. Best seafood we found in the area, in fact. Raw oysters, steamed snow crab legs, lobster tail, filet mignon, seafood bisque, hush puppies, raspberry cheese cake. All excellent. Wishing we lived closer--I'd be there all the time!

Food was very good. Atmosphere was very relaxed. I had a soft shell crab sandwich. It was really good, nice a fresh. Everybody else had giant cheeseburgers! The hush puppies were wonderful. Would go back again and again.

Warm and welcoming staff even as they ran like crazy keeping up with the crowd. Great seaside bar and restaurant. Fresh local seafood is the mainstay of the menu. Husband raved about crab and shrimp. Would go again!

Pretty good, not great. Food was ok, a typical seafood place, great service, but they get busy so might be a wait during peak dining.

Enjoyed diner at Awful Arthur's. island ambiance, great sea food, especially the boiled shrimp. Service was fast and friendly given the place was packed on a Wednesday night. Well worth a visit!
