This place is a gem. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced relative to ther places in the area. They have a limited breakfast menu and lunch/dinner menu that consists of sandwiches and soups but everything we had was outstanding. This restaurant was an eating highlight of our trip to Cape Breton this summer. Freshly prepared food at reasonable prices was top-notch and flavourfull. The deli-bakery has limited seating but it is well worth it. Try the home-made sandwiches and soups. The wonderful double-chocolate chip cookies were decadent and the coffee is excellent. It was the only espresso we could find in the area and it's organic too. The business is 5 years old and last year they opened in their new space which is bright and airy. The baked goods we tried were exceptional. It's a busy place and they hope to add more outdoor seating next year. More

Served large generous mugs of fresh fair-trade coffee for $2.00 Had a nice plate of homemade pancakes and sausage for approx $7.00. they do eggs, porridge, fresh fruit, and scones.
