My husband and I went here for dinner for my birthday. It was perfect. What an ecclectic menu and lots of variety. Our server (Meghan) was very knowledgeable about everything and extremely pleasamt and helpful. I had a Sangria and it was delicious. For appetizers I chose the Kale Salad which was delicious - very different and I was very... More

A must to try in Cleveland. Located on East 4th Street, this is a wonderful location as the street is closed off and packed with outside patios and restaurants. The ambiance is great, perfect size menu that doesn't overwhelm you with too many choices, but enough to make it a difficult decision. Great local beer selection, wine selection and the... More

I am a casual watcher of The Food Network, and when we found ourselves in Cleveland for a weekend, my friend suggested going to Michael Symon's restaurant Lola... I had no real idea who he was. Now I know he's a great chef if he put this menu together. Everything was great. We had the oysters mignonette, perogies and bone... More

It is impossible for to put into words how excellent this restaurant was. From the atmosphere to the service to the food. Everything was great. We had the oysters mignonette, perogies and bone marrow appetizers. For entrees we had ribeye, scallops and the pork chop. The dessert was the 6am special. Unbelievable. If on a budget eat cheap for breakfast... More

One of the top places to go in Cleveland. Very unique atmosphere, excellent service, imaginative menu and amazingly delicious food. Braised lamb, beef Ribeye we're amazing as we're the scallops. Be sure to try the beef cheek pierogis and the crab tator tots.

We were here with a group downstairs in their private party room. All the food was amazing. Nothing was sub par. The service for our group was excellent, even by the waitress that was new. Highly recommend.

On an overnight in Cleveland and we ended up at Lola. We had no idea about the whole celebrity chef aspect and we were totally prepared to have an 'okay' meal because we're snobby coastal folks and don't expect great food to occur anywhere in the middle (except Chicago, of course). Wow. This was really good. The bone marrow probably... More

We made a stop on our Food Tour of place and chefs from food shows. Having met and seen Michael Symon in NYC I was hoping to taste Cleveland. We had a drink at the bar and served by a wonderful bartender that guided us in the right direction. For dinner our waiter was on top of everything and made... More

When one goes to a restaurant where the chef/owner is a winner of the "Iron Chef" competition, there is an unspoken assumption that you'll have a memorable dining experience. Michael Symon's Lola Bistro in Cleveland doesn't measure up to the reputation his name commands. Was our dining experience memorable? No. Good? Sort of. Would we dine here again on a... More

Food truly equal to NY or LA. A delight for both eyes and palate. Even the french fries were incredible. After we were seated (right on time), it was suggested thoughtfully that we might wish to move to a round table so the eight of us could more easily converse. We did. Outside, the E. 4th St. restaurant row was... More
