This place is dirty and old. Staff is so rude. Wobbly tables and torn seats. Greasy floors and walls. Is there no health dept/inspectors in tulsa? The owner never speaks to customers and has a 'care less attitude'.

We ate at Talley's while deliberating whether or not to stay at the horrendous Desert Hills Motel down the road (we had checked in but felt totally unsafe). The staff at Talley's not only provided us with some much needed food (which arrived promptly and was tasty), but took the time to offer their advice and experiences about the Desert...

We wanted to introduce my sister's kids to chicken friend steak, here on Historic 66 in Tulsa, close Grandpa's childhood home. With much fanfare and anticipation we set out to dinner at Tally's, following the scent of great reviews and awards. Never had a bad breakfast here - try the homemade cinnamon rolls! Lunch and dinner menu items are all great! Busy place so be patient if you have to wait a minute to be seated - it's worth the wait!
Really authentically American diner. Beautiful neons at night, a quintessential Route 66 diner! Definitely worth a try!
The service was awesome! Breakfast special great price! This is an old diner with 50's style decor, we stayed in Tulssa for the weekend and we had breakfast here Saturday and Sunday. We will come back just to have breakfast. We had a BAD experience at the Hard Rock and will not go back to that casino. We did go...

Went here after hearing fellow coworkers talk about the chicken friend steak. Definitely one of the better ones I've had in Tulsa! The fried green tomatoes were also excellent and served piping hot.
Flew into Tulsa and was starving, looked this place up on tripadvisor and decided to give it a try. Food & Service was quick and good and priced reasonably.
The food is the definition of down home Southern. They use plenty of grease and seasonings to make their comfort foods. Don't expect to find heart surgeon approved foods here but your taste buds will love you.
If you like grease and questionable cleanliness then you'll like Talleys. If you cleanliness in the cafes you eat in then you don't want to eat at Tally's.
