Pretty good coffee, but it sure takes a while to get it! Worth the wait, though. Nice pastries too. Long lines in the morning.
I'm a barista in Wisconsin and this was amazing coffee! My wife got a V60 Ethiopian (blueberries!!!) and it was so balanced she wanted to buy so much! The espresso was smooth caramelly and apricot. Great baristas also. Overall amazing downtown gem
Great coffee. These guys definitely know what they're doing. The place starts to get busy around 7 or 7:30, so if you're looking for a seat, go early. The coffee is good. They offer 'slow brewed' coffee that takes 15 minutes to extract using a fine filter with the coffee collected in an ehrlenmeyer flask. I took me back to my college organic chemistry labs....kind of silly....
Came across this coffee place as it was right next to the Westin. Really good brew. Had coffee there and a muffin every morning I was in Portland.
Public Domain does know coffee. The slow pour delivered a smoothly robust cuppa which I followed with an espresso for a little added kick. espresso was rich with a little crema and just right. I ordered a regular cup of coffee and honestly it was the best cup I've ever had. I tried the flourless chocolate cookie as well...amazing!
