2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 May 2013 NEW

We went for lunch last week & sat for 20 minutes w/ a menu but no show waitress. I took menu back to hostess & told her I don't wait anywhere for 20 minutes to not be served. She took menus, gave me a "so what?" look and never offered to rectify the situation. That's not my first brush w/... More

I had the parmesean crusted haddock. As noted above it was disappointing. The rice pilaf side lacked flavor as well. No house made salad dressings and the mixed greens were entirely iceberg and romaine. I can say service was good, attentive but not overly so. I'm not local so may not give it another shot. So many other restaurants in... More

This little steak house had a good variety of food on the menu, a pleasant server, and fast service. After a long day on the road, this was greatly appreciated.

If you are nostalgic for the 1950's you will love this place. Menu will bring back happy memories! The food is acceptable if not inspired and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed all the old pictures on the walls!

Local establishment that has been in business for many decades. Good food in a comfortable family steakhouse with bar.

During one of our stays at the nearby Fairfield Inn, we decided to walk over to get a dinner that would, hopefully, be better than a typical chain meal. Unfortunately, we were disappointed; the food was not particularly good and the price was quite high. The only thing that impressed any of us was the flat iron steak that my... More

You wouldn't expect such good steak in an out-of-the-way place like Bedford. It's a no-rush atmosphere. The gift shop sells wonderful postcards of the covered bridges of Bedford County.

We dine here often, mostly for breakfast but occasionally for lunch and I've heard others dine for the Fish Fry on Friday nights. The food is always good but occasionally steaks are overcooked. Medium/Rare is Medium here and the vegetables are canned and not fresh. Breakfast is always a delite and we enjoy Diane the server. Coffee is always full... More

We stopped here on our trip to the flight 93 memorial in Shanksville and enjoyed it. It was busy but we got right in for lunch and service was friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed my turkey platter with mashed potatoes and gravy. Easy and convenient spot to stop at in Bedford and we plan to return.
