Nice ale. Hearty food. Good to sit there for an afternoon and do dull jobs in convivial surroundings.
We visited The White Swan with our son who lives locally and have to say that we were very impressed with the overall standard of the food and service. Everything was freshly cooked, the portions were generous and the service was efficient and friendly. The price as very reasonable and the atmosphere good. We will definitely have this venue on... Really enjoyed sunday roast and some nice ales here - good outdoor seating area amd cosy inside by the fire. Staff very accommodating. Toilets a bit scummy.
I visited the White Swan with friends on a rubgy (Harlequins not England) day and found the pub to be superb. Very welcoming staff, great beer and a very relaxing atmosphere. It is in a great location next to the river and also has cosy seating inside. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat but it... More
My husband has been going to the White Swan for close to 30 years. I am a bit behind, only 12 years for me. We used to live right next door so it was our local. In that time, it has had many incarnations, some more successful than others. A few years ago a new group of owners came on... More
Always love popping in here for a beer. Lovely pub. The food isn't anything to get excited about, but the pub itself has bags of character.

Whilst I highly recommend the... More
Hi, We went there on Sunday for a roast. Needless to say, the setting and the pub itself are both lovely. The woman at the bar was very welcoming and helpful. I noticed that the guy on the table next to me had a roast chicken dinner. It looked very nice and substantial (£10.95's worth). I duly ordered the roast... More
We love stopping here for a drink or some lunch on a walk along the river. The patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunshine albeit a little small but it is in greater London so everywhere is limited on space. Food is good and the beer is great according to my partner. With the tidal river... More
Due to its popularity at weekends (too many children!) the White Swan is best appreciated on a quiet weekday lunchtime. It is certainly the best pub for miles with a river view, and the stunning flower displays make a relaxed setting for watching the boats go by. The menu is imaginative as well as offering the traditional pub favourites, however... More
