Fantastic spot -- go here for a drink, by all means. Or coffee in the morning. Perhaps the salad bar is survivable. Pleasant if clueless staff trying to do their best. Shame, shame, shame on the kitchen. The "broiled day boat scallops" were in a jumble of cracker and bread crumbs swimming in watery butter or something worse, half-raw, just... More

We enjoyed the view more than the meal. Since the season is ending in a month, they were out of a lot of items. The food was just okay .. there are a lot of other restaurants on the island that we enjoyed more.

This is a prime location to watch the ferries dock while sipping on a drink. Half the porch is set up with dining tables and the other half accommodates wicker couches and chairs that beckon you to sit and enjoy a drink before dinner. The food here is fresh and prepared well. The best part here is the service and... More

Great place to sit. Server was very pleasant but totally clueless. Server Tried to open a screw top bottle of wine with a corkscrew. Salad bar was best part. We got up to get our salad bar, came back to the table and dinners were brought before we even sat down with our salads. Food was poor and not inexpensive.... More

We had dinner here on 8/19/12. Steamed Lobster and fish and Chips. The lobster platter was very nice and the fish fillet on the fish and chips was a very nice size. This is a casual place to enjoy your food and a nice beverage while you watch the ferry and people traffic of Block Island's main drag

This may have been one of the more enjoyable dining experiences of our lives. My husband and I sat down for a relaxing dinner and that is exactly what we got. Our server was actually the same girl that checked us into our hotel that morning and she knew so much about the Island, the Hotel, and the Menu. She... More

After dining at the National, we chose this as a lower-key alternative the following night. The restaurant has a nice view of the harbor but the food and service don't compare. They do have a good salad bar, but the salmon was so fishy I ended up sending it back, and just ate the salad for dinner. My husband had... More

We went to the Harbor Grill for dinner before catching the 7:30P ferry back to Point Judith. The restaurant itself was in a nice location with the option to sit outside on the large patio or inside. The waitstaff was very nice however the food was not very good. My wife and I both ordered seafood dishes. I ordered the... More

Stayed at this hotel, so had lunch there one day and breakfast another. Lunch was average. Enjoyed sitting on the verandah with a cool ocean breeze and view. They brag they have the best breakfast around. We had french toast, it was good, but no different than say Denny's or IHop. Service was good, although it took a couple of... More
