Our family, including two toddlers, ate at Magnolias for lunch. We called ahead, and they were able to seat us right away. The staff was very attentive and efficient, bringing the toddler order quickly, which we greatly appreciated. The food was, as expected, wonderful-----Southern cuisine at its finest. My husband and I had eaten at Magnolias on previous trips to... More

Need a reservation which we didn't have, but the hostess said we could sit at one of the tables in the bar....fine with us! We didn't need the white linen tablecloth...it's about the food. The food is excellent, the restaurant is beautiful with Magnolia decor of course. It's not a huge restaurant..hence the reservations. We had an excellent waiter, so... More

Food and service is superb . One of our favorites in Charleston. The sauces make the meals and I like the location.

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend in Charleston and had a very memorable meal at Magnolias. We had a short wait at the bar and the restaurant was hopping. We sat down to a wonderful caesar salad and bibb salad. I had the spricy shrimp and sausage, the small plate portion, which was the perfect portion. She had... More

We enjoyed our dinner. I had the Parmesan crusted flounder and my husband had duck breast. Would definitely recommend magnolias even though the service was a little slow.

The food was delicious and the waitress was very knowledgeable about celiacs and gluten free food. I had the flounder which was great and they even brought out gluten free bread for me. I definitely recommend this place!

Ate here with a party of 9 on a Wednesday. Food was good, but it took a very long time to get our entrees. I believe they comped us a bottle of wine as a result, which was nice of them. The waitstaff was attentive and apologetic. I had the southern egg rolls as an appetizer - really good -... More

Magnolia's is located on E. Bay St alongside a number of other great Charleston eateries. We had lunch there recently and it was very nice. Food preparation is a bit on the heavy side with cream sauces, etc. but that is their cuisine style. Pleasant spot for either lunch or dinner. Save room for a scoop of banana pudding ice... More

A perfect combination of really engaging service, great menu, and fun atmosphere. Our food was really delicious and make sure you don't miss the down south egg rolls.

The fried green tomatoes and grits were delicious. I ordered the tuna and requested the sides that came with the snapper. They graciously accomodated me. My friend had shellfish and grits. We both left feeling very satisfied. We would definitely return!
