Went for a office function at lunch. Had the Quiche. Service was outstanding. Food was ok. Seemed a little over priced for the amount of food. Not sure I'd go again

Visiting South Carolina over Easter and enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. The menu was varied, but enjoyed chowder followed by duck and tasters for dessert. Service was both informative and good natured/helpful. Would definitely return if opportunity presents itself another time.
Happy to have found a restaurant that serves locally sourced food and is creatively prepared. Surprisingly generous portions compared to similar restaurants within that price range. I sat at the bar where the bar tender was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to go to if you live there or are just visiting.
Upscale for small town Sumter...superb service, limited but interesting menu, not over-priced for the meal...five of us had duck, two different beef, and fish, plus appetizer/soup/salad and desserts....drinks and wine...there just wasn't a thing I found wanting. Been frequenting this fine establishment for nearly 2 years after living in Sumter for around 6. I have always heard great reports, I wish I had come sooner as neither I nor any of my family has ever been disappointed in any way. The staff presents a truly professional and courteous image accompanied with a culinary knowledge and expertise you...

I've been to and enjoyed lunch here several times, but this was my first dinner experience. This is not only the best restaurant in Sumter, but the best for some distance around. We were a table of six for starter, dinner, wine and dessert. One guest said "I'm a picky eater and can usually find something to remark about"...BUT he...

Our monthly lunch group travels all over the state of SC for lunch once a month. We visited Hamptons and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Some of us got there early and they welcomed us in even though they were not yet open. We had the greatest cup of coffee and the smells from their bakery (bread, pastries...

If you live in Sumter, this is probably your best bet for delicious, local, gourmet food and most certainly your best bet for a more than mediocre wine list. We have lived here for three years and Hamptons is where we choose to take our out-of-town guests.
Can't beat it, and even if it wasn't in Sumter, I'd still be eating here! We've always had excellent service as well.
Great meal and wine. Definitely the best restaurant in Sumter.
