good food, I think you will enjoy, they are friendly too. Not to far to Rock city. It can be a little difficult getting out but a great place to eat
Had a troop of Girl Scouts to feed between Rock City and Ruby Falls. Since we were sick of Pizza, this was recommended. It sits in a great location right at the bottom of the Rock City access road. The girls ordered chicken nuggets, cord dogs and grilled cheese. Came with chips, a juice pouch and a dessert (cracker jack... More
This restaurant doesn't really need another positive review, but I'm going to give it one anyway: Yum! It may not be in an upscale neighborhood or have elegant décor, but if it's great food you want at reasonable prices, this place is it. I ordered the stuffed baked potato with tender pork and it could easily serve two people with... More
Stopped in just for a sandwich to go, but intend to get back soon. The pulled pork is super tender, smokey and sweet. The potato salad was awesome, not greasy with mayo, but chunky and robust. Can hardly wait to try some of the other great looking items on that menu.
Another one of those places where the parking lot is full (and for a good reason)...THE FOOD IS AWESOME !! We Were there on a Friday night so of course you would imagine a crowd but the service and food were great...BBQ is the specialty but they offer other great goodies if you are not in the BBQ mood. Reasonable... More
I've eaten here several times in the last couple of months, it's always very good. From sandwiches to salads to the triple meat plate, very tasty, always fresh and always good service. My favorite is the smoked burger only on Thursday and Fridays. The burger is smoked like a smoked brisket, wonderful! Located at the foot of Lookout Mountain and... More
Wanted BBQ... TripAd to the rescue! BBQ was excellent!! We were hohum when we first saw the restaurant. Leaving, we were very much impressed!!! Very tasty selections!! Not like chain BBQ places.
If the sides are the highlight of any restaurant then that is not a good sign. The baked beans and hash brown casserole were good. The pulled pork was well under par for any BBQ. The ribs were ok, but not a place that I will visit again.
We took a day trip to see Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Incline Railway. I read the reviews on tripadvisor and wrote down the address of The Purple Daisy. The location was perfect for us and all four of us (2 couples) loved the food. I had the Rainbow sandwich and the banana pudding for dessert. The banana pudding... More
