and you can bring a bottle of wine. The waiter is friendly, and helps you make selections. The food is tasty and a good value.
No longer a licensed restaurant so if you are going you need to take your own booze.....would have been happier if we had known this before hand.... will be prepared next time. They often have trouble with the credit card machine too...
I went to red chill in tain last week. it is very small restaurant but great meal. when I come back to tain again, I will not miss to eat in red chilli...
One of the worst curries I have experienced, the curry was hot which I expected but had no flavour. Portion was very small with a minimul amout of chicken in there, for a take away just over half a carton. Poor poor poor
The place is small, not very fancy, but has great Indian food. I would have rated it higher if I was able to have a beer with my food. But the owner doesn't serve alcohol. But don't let that stop you from going.
Still no bar in the restaurant as yet, but if all you want is a decent indian meal to sit in or take away this is the best option in Tain. The food is excellent Everything is made to order, including the popadums, which is more than can be said for the curry club in the high street
me and wife was in for meal bill should have been £27 was was charged £37 young assistant was trying his best restarant was cold they do not sell beer or anything else apart from juice i got my meal was very hot vindaloo but was only ment to be medium hot would not go back
Food tasted amazing, however ordered some pakora and they were in no way worth the money, tiny little strips of chicken, tastes great but serisouly not worth the cash when you can get twice as many for pretty much the same price 2 minutes along the road. The owner/server, is a great man, very kind, funny and hospitable no negative... More

We queried the bill (it was £32) and were told... More
Recently changed hands and is now a completely different experience - delighted with the food, it was really good. Price reasonable and service very friendly. A roaring trade in takeaway meals was evident and the food is obviously very popular now. The atmosphere was quiet but Tain is a small place and the restaurant seating area is also small so... More
