I loved this cute little hipster restaurant. It's a little outside of the downtown area, but not too far by car and there is a parking lot. It's a little hidden in the back of the strip mall type building, but once we found it, we were happy. The service was a bit slow, but the food was really excellent.... More

I was so excited about going here....tons of reviews with nothing but praise. I was so disappointed. The location and parking are not the best. The service was not good. The waitress babbled about herself and "forgot" to bring our first round of drinks well into our appetizers. The portions are a total joke. Even the drinking mugs....almost Dixie cup-sized.... More

The food is really good. I have never had a main dish where there were so many taste experiences. Each bite was a different combination of the beef, veggies, herbs, cheese and spices. The place is VERY loud. Painfully loud. You can barely hear the person sitting across from you. The chairs are painful to sit in - very small... More

The food was great- there were 6 of us and we all sampled each other's food and it was all good! Fresh food, and ingredients- a surprisingly wonderful place to eat. Get there early, not much seating inside but if the weather is nice you can eat at the patio to the side of the restaurant.

So it's been a while since I've tried any restaurants in East Nashville beyond Margot's, but last night 6 of my gal pals and I hit Silly Goose. The service was great especially in light of the fact that my gal pals were 20 minutes late! I loved the menu choices and reasonable wine options. Was not wild about the... More

When we stepped into the Silly Goose, we almost felt like we were in Portland, OR or Seattle. It has a hip, locovore, DIY ambiance that is lovely. There are few tables; most were taken up with young couples. There was a larger table with a family eating. We were first-time visitors but came because of the good reviews. At... More

I wanted a quick and light lunch, so I drove out to this little jewel. I wasn't expecting the location, but the decor and vibe were great inside (although be warned that the ladies room is like walking into a sauna due to the washer & dryer in the closet). I love the local sourcing of the ingredients and with... More

I love Silly Goose. It represents so much that I love about Nashville restaurants! The food is locally-sourced (they write the day's farms on the board), the vibe laid-back, the people edgy and cool, the neighborhood unique and historic, the prices reasonable, and the chef creative. Seriously, come to Silly Goose whether you're a local or a tourist coming to... More

I wasn't sure I was going to like the Silly Goose. The food seemed a little to fancy for me, when we walked in the atmosphere seemed a little too hipster, and a little too crowded, but we were there and we were hungry, so we stayed. And, honestly, I'm glad we did. The place was small, but we only... More

We enjoyed trying very unique sandwiches with a side of couscous and greens! Very tasty food and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us in selecting our entree's. We'll be back!
