Delightful location. Wonderful, light lunch. Friendly service. Desire to provide excellent food.
My husband and I made reservations to the Herb Farm for when he came home after serving overseas on a year long tour. From the time I made the reservation to the time we left the restaurant, it was the best experience we have ever had. The owner, whom I spoke to on the phone, was thoughtful and generous. The... More
My wife and I dined there this past Saturday for Valentines. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Chef Asa Thornton and crew came out and personally spoke to each table. What a treat to speak with a Chef!. The service was attentive and well timed. We'll be back!
great food, great service. LOVED the dessert!!! the restaurant is a nice charming, quaint place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Certainly save room for the dessert!

This is an incredibly wonderful place to eat and enjoy! Always friendly! The new owners are doing a fabulous job on cleaning the whole place up. The work they are doing is just phenominal. It is going to take a lot of work to it back up to par, but they are doing a GREAT job! This is one of... More
The owner is friendly and the service warm and inviting. The laid back setting and fresh food was a treat. Dinner was so romantic with full glass windows overlooking a herb garden. Recommend for couples who are health conscious and are not uptight about 5 star service but are more tuned in to a relaxed, warm, and genuinely charming setting... More

It is usually not too crouded in the evenings ( though lunch can be a bit noisy) and the room we dined in felt intiment with the... More
My husband and I having been reading about Fredericksburg Herb Farm for years, and have purchased the Varney's books. Well we finally made it out there and we were so thrilled! We had a wonderful lunch with a very nice waitress, Franchesca, got to ask Mr. Varney a number of questions about gardening and growing herbs, and cooking with herbs,... More
We also walked out. The place had a rather off odor so perhaps it is well that we didn't eat the food.
