For an attraction cafe, the food was quite good, came out quickly and was value-priced. It sits at the top of a hill overlooking a popular (to the animals) watering hole, so there's always some entertainment.

At the mid-point of the Fossil Rim adventure is the Overlook Cafe, a quick stop for lunch, snacks and desserts. Whether you're hungry or not, take some time to view the wildlife park from atop the tallest hill in the area and revel in the view of giraffe and exotic deer.
Prices are mid-level and food quality is above average....

Well the view is fantastic but finding healthy to eat is not easy in this location. Really one veggie option and it's probably best to just bring your own food.
We were really hungry after the tour and stopped off on-site for a bite to eat. It wasn't the cheapest but it was pretty good food! I would eat there again!
The food was good, but definitely overpriced. The view is beautiful, but when I went it was so crowded (EXTREMELY small for a tourist attraction) there was nowhere to sit and I had to bring our food back to eat in the car. If we go back to Fossil Rim we plan on all grabbing something quick, and relatively good,...

A little pricey, but good food and view of the wildlife reserve. My kids enjoyed the kids meals, grilled cheese and cheeseburger, which come with fries, drink, and animal crackers. They had a good Reuben sandwich that hit the spot on the cold day that we visited.
My husband had the philly sandwich. It was huge and excellent. The employees were very friendly and came out to see how we liked our food and talk for awhile. Great view of Fossil Rim while you eat.
Enjoyed the tour and drive of Fossil Rim. The cook, Jacob, was friendly. Food was better than what I expected.
Good food for a tourist destination. The burgers were well seasoned and really good. The kids had a peanut butter sandwich and a hot dog, so nothing special there, but their meals came with animal crackers and fries, which they were thrilled about. The burgers are pricey, but that's to be expected. We sat outside and had a great view...

Yes, a sandwich here is about $8. This is a tourist destination. But this is not your typical 'theme park food'. It was all VERY good. We had the hamburgers, chicken, rueben and waffle fries. We did have to wait about 40 minutes, but we visited the gift shop so it was fine. We hovered around and grabbed an outdoor...
