Love the Italian margaritas, chicken tortilla soup, hawaiian pork ribs, and others. Service can be a little slow in the bar at times.

The Food is great, atmosphere wonderful and you will think of the food long after you leave.... yeah, we actually did!!! Great for familys and a romantic date... This place is special!

We visit this place every time we're in Gruene. The service is great, the views are gorgeous, and the food is terrific. Try the chicken enchiladas or the gorgonzola burger. Delicious and very reasonably priced.

We actually ate there twice. Dinner was wonderful and they were able to make substitutions without a problem. I had a burger for lunch. It was a bit over cooked. Fries were tasty. They have indoor and outdoor eating area. I would have liked to eat outside and enjoy the river view but they still allow smoking outside. Too bad.... More

6 of us had everything from blackened redfish to chicken to a burger. Everything was great., Excellent service as well.

This is a large and quaint restaurant overlooking the Guadalupe River in Gruene. Excellent service, large and reasonable menu and wine list. Several fireplaces and large built in bookshelves with interesting old books. Our first visit there and we like it much better than the other large restaurant nearby where we usually eat. Offstreet free parking, also.

Probably much better in the warmer months with the outside atmosphere and view, but it was amazing food and atmosphere when we visited as well. I would love to come back for short and t-shirt weather. Right down the road from Gruene Hall and overlooking the river.
