A lovely place to visit if you want something a bit different and a break from steaks and salad. Fresh food served in a unique way.
Frida's has closed. This is from their facebook page: "Frida's Taqueria will be closed until further notice. Thank you for your support, see you again soon." This is an all too frequent occurrence in Stowe, restaurants that become popular have their rent raised and end up relocating or closing. Gracie's has moved twice because of this.
Everything we savored tasted as if it was prepared right before our very eyes, VERY FRESH. The salads crisp, great dressing and color, the guacamole straight and pure, and the tacos and burritos very delicious. The food was a bit over priced for the kind of fare and portion size that was served. The service was less than warm. Nontheless,... More
We had a nice meal here for lunch. The food was fresh and well served but rather overpriced, (I guess that comes with the territory in Stowe High Street?)
I really disliked the fact that Frida's highly-rated (on Tripadvisor) restaurant had gone out of business shortly before we went there for dinner. What a great restaurant. The setting was wonderful and the food was out of this world. This restaurant is in town, casual dress, and close to the bike path.
We really enjoy stopping at Frida's whenever we visit Stowe. The ingredients in every dish we've tried always taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Team up a wonderful assortment of your choice of three different tacos. pair that with a tasty margarita on the rocks and enjoy! the atmosphere is low key and friendly.
Excellent quality, high end food and drinks but at reasonable prices. Great after ski atmosphere. The bar is a fun place to gang out at while waiting for a table. Th food is innovative but authentic.
One of my favorite restaurants in Stowe. Reasonable prices, good food, very friendly staff. Huge portion of nachos as a starter :-D I like the Baja plate with fish. Nice selection of beers. Highly recommended.
