Thai Flavor is a good little Thai restaurant that is worth trying. It is not fancy, but it is clean and attractive. It does have the requisite fish tank! The location is off the beaten path, but worth looking for. The service is great. I had the yellow curry and it was delicious! Just the right amount of spiciness. My... More

Some co-workers took me to Thai Flavor for lunch recently and we all enjoyed it. I have only tried Thai food a couple of times but this was noticeably better. The Yellow Curry was slightly spicy but not too much. I couldn't stop eating it. The portions are surprisingly large, though I didn't see discounted lunch pricing. Over $10 for... More

You're not going here for the ambiance. Food was very good, piping hot and very flavorful. Two curry dishes, pad Thai and some sizzling beef dish with lots of fresh veggies. Everyone was very happy with their selections. Plenty of food too.

I only found this place by looking up Thai food online. I called and placed my order and must have driven past it twice before I found it, but after I knew where it was I was there about once a week while I lived there! My favorites were the Massaman Curry, Pad See-Ew and always the Sticky Rice and... More

Great thai food and very fair prices for the portion sizes. The pad prik king is amazing and I don't see it offered at most Thai places. However, the decor definitely isn't anything special. Come here if you're looking for fabulous authentic Thai food, not ambiance.

This place does not look like much from the outside, but the flavor and service inside is remarkable. If you enjoy true Thai food I highly recommend Thai flavor. You will not be disappointed

Eaten here twice - both times good with a few reservations. First time, had the green curry which was excellent - as good as Taste of Thai and an even larger quantity (even more to take home than normal!). Friend had a vegetarian pad thai dish - can't remember the name - and she loved it. This time, I had... More

While visiting JMU, I picked up carryout from Thai Flavor. We enjoyed the summer rolls but not so much the dipping sauce (we prefer the peanut sauce that typically accompanies these soft rolls). The Drunken Noodles were spicy and good, and the red curry with beef was delicious. We will be back!
