We enjoyed two wonderful dinners while staying at primland. Well prepared "locally sourced" ingredients.
Elements is at Primland, a resort in the middle of a huge expanse of forest, with a spa, lodge, cottages, golf course, and this wonderful restaurant. The whole complex is a destination - not somewhere you would happen to stop at while driving down the highway. Even though I live in the same state, I only learned of it recently,... More
We decided to venture out to Primland, a luxury resort not far from our home but in the middle of nowhere. The 12,000 acre resort has recently been named as one of the country's best by several travel magazines. Once we got to the lodge (and a wild and woolly ride it was in the dark), we found ourselves wrapped... More
My husband and I dined at Elements and thought it would be amazing. We were quite disappointed. The portions were extremely small similar to a sample from a grocery store. The food was very bland. My husband got the grouper and I ordered a pumpkin dish. We literally ate bread so we weren't hungry and had to ask for that.... More
Elements was a tremendous dining experience. The meals for both breakfast and dinner were unbelievable. The presentation, quality and preparation of the food was exceptional. The service was efficient and seamless. Top that off with long range views from any seat in the restaurant and you have the best, most romantic dining, in the foothills of the mountains.
Our dinners at Elements consisted of great presentation, wonderful flavor, incredible service and a nice wine/ champagne selection. We feel the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of service and the environment, and always felt like we received more than our monies worth, which is very rare at resorts.
We dined here 2 nights and all had different meals each night. The service was a-one and the quality was most definitely 5 star!! Had a wonderful fireplace in the middle of the room so it felt cozy. Was cool while there so it added to the ambience. Worth the trip
The food and service were excellent. The staff were attentive and well-trained. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner. The breakfast portions are quite generous and there were interesting menu items for dinner courses (i.e. fried quail and bison).
We had 2 wonderful dinners during our recent stay at Primland, both were wonderful. The seafood entrees were particularly great. We trusted Karl, the sommelier to make all of our wine choices...all of his selections were excellent, and not wines I would have chosen on my own. Next time we're doing the Chef's Table!
Very good food and wait staff was attentive. Food was great and menu was diverse with fresh local ingredients. It's quite a jaunt to get there but if you have the time it is worth the drive.
