Staff seemed very helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. They have been updated with nice tile, granite and fixtures. Has a northwoods decor.
My husband and I came up to Lake Lawn for the first time to golf using a Golf Now "discount". Except for the excellent views of Lake Delavan from most holes, the course was just average for what we paid. Even with the discount. Tee boxes were very chewed up, so were half of the fairways and greens. I guess... More
This place has just recently been Remodeled and reopened. It has the best piece of lake frontage of all the resorts in the area. However Delavan isn't the cleanest lake and has a ton of weeds. Brunch buffet is very good. Hotel is a neat layout and doesn't feel like you are at a hotel. Kids have a pretty good... More
They did a great job on a large party (almost 50). We were on the patio with our own area ropped off and the lawn right there for the kids to run around. Most of us had the fish and it was great, but they allow us to offer a few others items and all left happy. Will definitely think... More
By Lake Delavan just outside town on Hwy 50. Closed for a year after about a 75 year existance, it is now back to its former oppulence. It is bigger the some towns. Specializing in serving BIG groups, . It does however cater as well to twos and fours and mores. This huge laborynth of restaurants, game & party and... More
Recently I was treated to a mid week LUNCH. I was going to skip/ overlook a review. Lake Lawn Lodge has ALWAYS been A FAVORITE...good or BAD cannot ignore what an embarrassment the standard of professional service was currently experienced, at this fine historical resort, as well as what is more than unacceptable in the world of hospitality standards. The... More
Have had brunch there numerous times, golfed the fun course, and lunch & cocktails in the sports/pool-side bar & restaurant...... all have been good experiences :D
Has it all, stay put and enjoy! Snack shops, a choice of restaurants with outdoor eating options, indoor/outdoor pools, lots of outdoor sitting areas (loved the one overlooking the lake). Indoor walkways take you around, literally, to all shops/restaurants, lodge and lots of relaxing sitting areas. I read w/ a cool beverage while the husband golfed!
We went on a Friday night and saw they had a seafood buffet for $19.00 PP. We scanned it before being seated and figured it would be OK. The chefs station was doing a shrimp stir fry with noodles or vegetables. The shrimp were very poor quality and it was quite spicy but decent flavor. Other than that it was... More
The service stunk. The menu was limited, and we ended up going to other resteraunts.
