The locals hang here..... That is a tip off. Good brews, good (not excellent) pub food. Average value for the area. Service could be a bit friendlier. Happy hour specials from 4-6 pm make it a must try destination while in town!

Bison burgers were overcooked and just fair, but fries, both regular and sweet potato, were very good. We tried Snake River Lager and the Hefeweizen, which were excellent.
4 of us had the trout, potatoes and brussels sprouts - none of us liked it. The trout was overcooked, dry and tasteless. One person had the hamburger which was dry but at least edible. We were in a corner in the back and service was not good either. We went to our rooms unimpressed our first night in Jackson....

As you would expect, the beer offering is varied and comprehensive, with the array of locals, domestics and imports allowing for tastings beyond your comfort zone. What you might not expect is a menu that takes typical brewery/pub-type fare and brings it up several notches with creative and well-rounded selections. I perceived a bit a funny livery taste but I think that's how Bison taste. Its the first time I tried this. The interior of the restaurant is attractive as one sits...

The employees are more than happy to answer your questions about any of their award winning beers. They don't mind taking the time. And I definitely recommend the chili. Best ever!
Snake River brew pub is always packed at happy hour and busy through the evening for good reason. The food is good pub fare -- a wide menu from pasta to pulled pork, margarita pizza and large salads (although we've noticed that the quality can vary with seasonal help). We are regulars here -- love the brews, the food is...

If you have a large pack of loud kids then by all means, enjoy the brew pub. But also expect mediocre food, insulting waiters and an atmosphere that is anything but chill.
We love this pub and brewery. The brewery has won many awards both at the GABF but also the World Cup. Seasonals are always good, the Hef is nice as well as the lager. Food is fair and the atmosphere is typical for a brew pub. Great merchandise and friendly staff.
I highly recommend the "Roasted Chicken Papperdelle" dish at Snake River Brewing Company. It was SOOOO delicious! It was still delicious when I heated up the leftovers for lunch the next day. Everyone else in my party said that they enjoyed their dishes, too - they had the fish & chips, spicy Thai dish, Cobb Salad, and a burger-like sandwich....
