Ate here early into our vacation, prices are a little steep for what you get. Portion sizes are fair to small in size, food tastes fine but it's nothing great. Nice view overlooking the mountains.

The portions were adequate and they were accommodating (such as sauces on the side) but the fish didn't have the "wow" factor of some of the other restaurants.
I'm sure it's easy to get sucked in here - it looks like a great spot from the outside. But it's not worth it! "Generic" seems like the perfect word for the food and the drinks. We ordered a rainbow roll, a Mai Tai and the Pina Colada - all virtually tasteless. Not recommended.
We have been coming to Kauai for over 25 years and had never eaten at this restaurant. Name has changed several times over the years, but reviews were never very favorable. We stopped for lunch and what a treat. They had a combination plate that included a rib, chicken filet and wings, and fish. Everything was really good and the...

Maybe it was just that nothing really sounded good to eat that night, we settled for the fish and chips, it was good, but nothing to write home about. And this is a sushi bar, but for whatever reason there was NO sushi chef that night, which was really disappointing!!
Good fish tacos, but have had better before. Great view from the deck but very slow service. Can't complain too much because everyone is on island time. I'd go back.
We ended up eating at this resteraunt several times after being offended by one acroos the street from them ( I think it was called Nedi's ). The service here was always good, the food was very good, and the prices were fair. I ordered the Grasshopper pie and my wife almost mugged me for it.
Try and get there early to snag one of the tables by the opens air window. Great view of the center of town. The combination fish and ribs is terrific, the drinks are great and the service the same. Fresh sushi made all day in he sushi bar area. Enjoy!
My wife and I decided to give Bouchons a shot because we were already staying in Hanalei. We started with a poke appetizer which was excellent, but when it came to the main courses - grilled Ahi for myself and a tuna sushi roll for my wife - the meal fell flat. My Ahi was tough and did not taste...

The batter fried fish with fries and slaw came hot, which I like. Quantity was large and quality was good. Wife had fish roll which she liked. Large serving, good quality. Our server was friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable for a vacation spot such as Kauai.
