Have been going to McKay's for a couple years now and it has been getting worse and worse. Where to begin, the server took quite awhile to get around to greeting us and bringing our drinks. He never brought our bread and I had to ask him twice to bring our $8 apiece side salads. Ridiculous. To top off our... More

Nothing really bad but absolutely nothing memorable with the exception of my wife's brie, tomato and spinach sandwich with tomato bisque, which was very good. The atmosphere and service were very good to exceptional

Everything was prepared great, good serving size. Food was a bit cold. Select wine of the day was sold out. It was a good meal.

This restaurant provides friendly, quick service, with a casual atmosphere, close to downtown Bar Harbor. Parking is on street only but we were able to find a space every time. Food is good, and you don't feel gouged. Salad greens are advertised as organic. Nice outside eating areas in good weather. Not stuffy, just relaxed and nice.

Our last night in Bar Harbor we sort of stumbled on this place. Our waitress was Theresa, she was great, fast and friendly and had great recommendations for us out of towers. We could tell she was busy but she made you feel like you were her only table. The food was excellent, I would recommend this place, five stars... More

We had a good meal here without the kids. This was a short walk fromthe harbor but nice to stretch the legs before a good meal.

We stopped here early in the season. We had a nice side room, the Red Room, and we enjoyed it. The menu had a wide selection of options without being overwhelming. It was a great mix of different regions of food. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend a stop at McKay's.

The food was just marvelous! Our new Friday night spot! Aaron was our waiter, he was great, he could have gone a little slower, but regardless...We started with the sweet potato fries with a creamy horseradish dip.....just perfectly fried to a wonderful crispy outside and a soft sweet middle, delish! I had the halibut, fresh fresh fresh.....a nice beet risotto... More

Always excellent food and beer. We always come back. We had the lamburger and soup or chowder and really enjoyed it.

We ate dinner here on a Weds night in Mid-May. Crowded, with mostly locals as it was still preseason. Very nice ambiance, a bit above a normal pub. Excellent waitstaff. Food was better than we expected from a pub, and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
