A must every time we come to town, and we've been coming for years. Cute little place with an interesting menu and consistently great execution. Watch out for the habanero mashed potatoes. They bring the heat.

Got a few recommendations to try this place. So we did. OUTSTANDING! Kind of a plain little place that would be easy to miss. Walked in and seated right away (we missed the busy lunch hour). Ordered drinks. I hit up Dale's Pale Ale - gotta support the locals, plus it's a good beer. We started with chips and guacamole....

I have known Hector since he came to Asheville Over 15 years ago. This is one of the best restaurants around!
Absolutely great Tex-Mex with a Caribbean twist. Think Rick Bayless only more casual. This is serious food with a food truck sort of feeling to it. Funky art work on the walls and helpful service made for a very enjoyable night.
You can't help but enjoy the wide menus of interesting dishes at Salsa's. My second time here was as enjoyable as the first. The various stews burritos and such were delicious. I can't remember the name of the pork stew in a lava bowl...but it was great. ENJOY!!!
The food here always tastes really fresh, and the flavor combinations they come up with are totally creative. I love anything with sweet potato and goat cheese there! Portion sizes are big and I often come up with enough for lunch the next day too. It's a small interior space, but when the weather is nice there is some outdoor...

This is a small restaurant with a few outdoor seating tables. There is an outdoor walk-up bar window. Food was good, pretty quick. The jalapeno poppers are certainly recommended.
Husband and I both had a 'plato'. He chose the vegetarian plato and I had the chicken plato. Served with lots of fresh vegetables, rice and black beans. Lots of flavors...

We had lunch here before heading back to Atlanta today. It had a pretty good crowd every time we passed it during the weekend, so we gave it a shot. My husband had the steak burrito. He really enjoyed it. I had the VegHead burrito. I should have gone with nachos because, for a vegetarian, I'm not all that fond...

Good selection of food inspired by Mexican & carribean. Some items are a bit pricey. But the food we ordered was excellent.
It was by chance my husband and I stumbled across this restaurant. After a quick debate we decided to take a chance on it. We were seated rather quickly at lunch on a Friday. It's a small space so expect to be a bit cozy with the tables around you. After we arrived there were a few parties that had...
