We had to go to Boston and decided to try this restaurant. We weren't sure we wanted to wait on line but the line was short and it was early (we arrived at 4:45 and it opened at 4:30), so we only waited about 20 minutes. Small, noisy but fabulous!! Waitress super friendly, food was great. Atmosphere is your basic... More

Excellent Italian food. It's cash only so go to the ATM across the street first but then go enjoy some delicious Italian food! It's a small place that is very popular so expect a line and being close to your dining neighbors but you won't notice once you taste the food. The service was great! Even let us put out... More

Now, I'm a Hoosier who's never been to Italy. but, Giacomo's pasta redefined what I thought pasta to be! Depending on what you go, there can be a long line. (It's worth the wait!) And, they take cash only.

Ate here with my daughter and husband in November 2012 after a 1 hour+ wait in freezing temperatures and it was worth it! This visit, we arrived in May on a weeknight in May and only waited 15 or 20 minutes! So happy and had another wonderful dinner. My advice is to go at an off time for an early... More

We had 6:30 reservations, we arrived fifteen minutes early and we were told it would be one half hour to a forty minute wait, which meant standing out on the cold sidewalk. The restaurant is extremely small and EXTREMELY loud. Okay so we were a bit apprehensive, Service was great and food was FANTASTIC. Was not a fantastic dining experience... More

Pluses were the ambiance, with fast and friendly service (no hanging around with a queue of potential customers snaking down the street). The food was delicious, we shared calimari as a starter, then I had lobster ravioli and my husband mussels with linguini, all with a great bottle of Merlot. It came to $80, with tips, which we felt was... More

We went on a Friday. They open at 4:30....We arrived at 5pm and there was a line. We were seated at 5:25...not a bad wait. As other reviews have noted the restaurant is small but we found it pleasant and lively. They only take cash...no credit cards. The menu is pretty extensive...average entree is about $15. A bottle of wine... More

This restaurant was quite tasty! We had heard that if we were in Boston, we had to visit the North End and find some Italian food, so that's exactly what we did. This restaurant had over 1,000 reviews on Yelp with 4.5 stars and after eating there, I can definitely see why. Be prepared to wait! The restaurant is pretty... More

If you see a long line just get in it and wait. This was hands down my favorite restaurant of our trip (and maybe ever). The food is fresh and absolutely delicious, the service is super quick and it is loud and packed all the time. So if you are looking for romantic and relaxing this is not your place.... More

Our son is moving to Boston, and after a long day of apartment "shopping" we took the T to the north end to look around. After visiting the waterfront, the Old North Church, etc. we decided to grab dinner at one of the many (I mean many) Italian restaurants to choose from there. We chose Giacomo's because of its tripadvisor... More
