Had researched this place before leaving home. The menu looked wonderful & the prices were reasonable. Went there our first night in Boston & really enjoyed ourselves! The service was excellent & the food outstanding! My husband had the lamb shank & I tried the duck legs. Serving size on both were very large. Try the white Spanish wines to... More

Tapas restaurant with a wide variety of small portion "meals"...pick from a long menu---the fried shrimp are our favorite! Reasonable pricing; close to Green B-Line T---get off at Washington and it's across the street!

I just tried Tasca for the first time this week. The food was fairly good- I would recommend ordering 2 tapas per person. My personal favorites were the serrano and manchego tostini, portabella mushroom and the brie. The tapas were very simple, nothing unique or extraordinary but definitely tasty. The biggest drawback for me was the lack of reasonable parking.... More

I was looking forward to trying Tasca based on multiple recommendations, but unfortunately the experience wasn't what I thought it would be. The tapas were incredibly underwhelming (the flavors just weren't there, even on simple, traditional dishes like patatas bravas). The sangria was decent but I've certainly had much better. Luckily the restaurant has a nice ambiance (including a guitar... More

Tasca's offers a variety of tapas dishes that are very good but the sangria is the reason I keep going back! I would recommend a reservation if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night though!

My semester-in-Spain daughter wanted to take the 'rents from the burbs to an authentic tapas place, so we tried Tasca on Comm. Ave. On a Friday night, this place was packed; the upper level has a few tables, a bar and a hostess stand; the main dining room is much larger and on a lower level. It was pretty hectic;... More

My wife and some good friends were in Boston for a fun Saturday. We were looking for an early dinner before heading home and found our way to Tasca after seeing an interesting Zagat listing and checking out the menu online. We liked the place immediately on entering. There is a comfortable dining room in a pleasant traditional Spanish that is... More

Went here for my best friend's birthday. Food was good, and came fairly quick. Our table of 9 all ordered tapas. I shared the calamari and cod fritters with my boyfriend, but got full quickly so I didn't get to try anything else. Restaurant is a bit crowded. only enough room for walking in one direction. Our server was nice.

Yummy Sangria, Yummy Tapas, Yummy Service. They should change their name to "Yummy" hehe! Flamenco adds for an entertaining evening if you're feeling bored of the ordinary "get up, go to work, come home, eat food, go to sleep" type of life. Once a month you can "get up, go to work, come home, eat fo- WAIT THERE'S FLAMENCO" Nice.

Best thing on a weekend is to have reservations, as this place fills up fast. We had a group of six and it was quite tight seating, but the food was worth it. If you go, you have to have the Sangria by the pitcher, it was delicious!! We had 2 pitchers for 6 people which was perfect. The Tapas... More
