I went here on a business trip and was given the tip by the hotel concierge. What a great tip. This was a trip highlight. Taking on a worldwide trend for small interesting plates, this place has a slight Spanish feel, but the small plates have some Japanese influence that is noticeable. Knowing the place was popular, I thought I... More

We went to Toro for dinner this evening after last coming here 2 years ago and it reminded me of just how much I love Tapas. Firstly, we were very happy with the attentive service and they were playing old-school hip hop all evening which made for a killer ambience. Now on to the food. We had a wonderful smoked... More

The atmosphere is neat, the service was great and tapas were excellent. We walked in at 4:50pm on a Sunday and were told they start seating at 5pm. We sat at the bar while waiting and we were seated within 10-15minutes. When we walked in the place was quiet, by 5:30 the place was packed and there was a line... More

I went in for a quick bite while I waited for my son in town. I had the corn that Everton raves about. It did not disappoint. Cheesy, sweet, peppery absolutely delish. The staff was courteous and friendly. Cannot wait to go back for other items as so many were calling me to try them. Yum!!

I love the location I love the bar I love the people I love the music.. But most of all I love the food.. Oh the food... Tapas with flare. I have tried everything on the menu and there isn't one thing that isn't worthy of some kind of award so just look at the menu and know that everything... More

My food experience at Toro was perfection..Ken Oringer is very, very talented chef. Even the salad was like opening a present..each bite was an oh my God moment...I started with the honey badger..clever combo of Aperol and white whiskey..yummy. The salad..cortada..was awesome. Duck drumettes in quince sauce...to die for..pork belly...it just gets better and better. Tapas portions are generous..the atmosphere... More

Great Spanish bites, from classics to originals. Exotic wine and beers. Food is good. Price is a bit expensive, considering the dishes size. Always crowded and don't take reservation, but you can come and wait at the (nice) bar. Because it is so famous, the place can turn a bit noisy. Watch-out kitchen closed at 22.15.

I really don't understand the complaints about service or anything else for that matter!! My wife and I walked here from our nearby B&B during the terrorist crisis in Boston. They were open, and packed! Locals told us it was a lighter crowd than usual... No reservations are taken, so just relax with a glass of wine while you wait.... More

I love Toro and completely understand why people wait hours to be seated here. The food is very authentic and delicious. Favorites of mine include the grilled corn, foie gras, uni sandwich, the spicy green peppers, the paella, etc. it is ALL phenomenal food. Go at 4:00/4:30 if you want to get seated right away. Great food, but loud atmosphere,... More

Very busy buzzing place - trendy low lighting and frenetic marketplace atmosphere. space was extremely limited so you end up dining with the table next door. good wine list and selection of tapas, although a little salty which always makes me worry that you are being encouraged to drink more.... nice tumbler selection of wines by the glass - trendy...
