We ate here on a friend's recommendation and the fresh pasta dishes we ordered were delicious. It's a nice space, we look forward to going back.
Many good choices for meals. I have stuck to the pasta and their name sake, Carbonara, Spahetti Carbonara is goog and it is done just like it is in Rome and Venice. Good seafood dishes as well, Pleasant atmosphere and good service,
The owner is very rude and does not care about customers. The food was cold and gross. The wait staff took wrong orders. In addition this place turns into some party and all you smell is cigarette some. When we left to get our umbrellas the hostess was very icy saying " they are over there" ( a large bin)... More
I stopped by recently by myself on the way to the theater and had dinner and a glass of wine at the bar. I ordered a beautiful buttterflied trout topped with almonds, a side of vegtables, and a potatoe. I also had a glass of a lovely rose. And was provided with a nice selection of breads and olive oil.... More

They were quite rude and we were left standing in the middle of a busy restaurant, unable to catch the eye of the bartender (she wasn't... More
The place is excellent. I had the ravioli with butter sauce and rosemary, it was perfect. My wife ordered polenta, it was wonderful also. Great place and great service.
La Carbonara is a really nice restaurant in the heart of NYC, it had a small but well stocked bar & the staff were friendly & served us well all night. The wine & food menus were quite impressive & the food was excellent, the only slight let down was that the desert menu was a bit limited, other than... More
