Description: "Best tiny romantic restaurant" - Philadelphia Magazine “It’s a Rittenhouse Square classic. With its romantic dining room and cool upstairs tank bar, it’s one of the most vibrant spots with a finely rendered menu. Great wine list and only a $10 markup on each bottle.” –Craig LaBan, Philadelphia Inquirer

Food was pretty good. Service was a little slow and strange? We didnt know that they charged grutuity for a table of five...? Waitress was a little scatterbrained. Kid of strange since restaurant was not that busy. Most of our bill was alcohol. So we kind of felt that waitress did not deserve that large of tip that we had... More

Tucked away on a quiet corner of Center City Philadelphia we knew that this restaurant was different the minute we enterd. The setting was studenty and rustic, the tables super small and uncomfortable for 4 people, the silver and glass-ware super cheap. Yet the prices are expensive so we lived in hope. That was however dashed as food started coming... More

Great food, service and atmosphere. What else is there? Highest recommendation. Eight different appetizers and main courses, all great.

This restaurant is an old neighborhood staple in Rittenhouse West. It has no pretentions and simply serves very good food. The other night, we had a phenomenal cod special and a delicious strip steak. We ordered a bottle of wine - always a good bet here because the restaurant expressly limits the mark-up of full bottles to only $10.. The... More

With only 18 tables, reservations are essential here, at one of the earliest restaurants in Philly's modern restaurant revival. Good menu choices, many dishes prepared in unusual ways ( like salmon with poblano peppers and salsa verde). Food quality was uniformly very good. Very good wine list & draft beers. Lots of great desserts. Very enjoyable, but noisy ambience. Attentive... More

If you want a great meal at a good value in a nice setting stop here. I hosted a business dinner for 7. Well within reasonable pricing, everyone liked their meal, decent wine list and quiet setting. Not big or fancy. Just a few minutes off Rittenhouse Sq.

Friday Saturday Sunday is a gem. This is a small, family-run restaurant near Rittenhouse Square in central Philly, offering an intimate, charming, romantic environment (great date restaurant!) and superb food. The several couples who founded and run the restaurant take care of you, and they offer a variety of soups, appetizers, entress and NOT TO BE MISSED desserts guaranteed to... More

After living in Philly for many years and passing this restaurant sooo many times, we finally celebrated Restaurant Week at Friday Saturday Sunday, last night. Throughout the entire meal, we kept saying to each other - Why did we wait so long to come here??? The atmosphere, both at the upstairs bar and seating area, and the section on the... More

Friday, Saturday, Sunday has been there since my husband and I were dating- more than 30 years ago. We have never had a bad meal there and it continues to be one of our favorites when we are in town. Though we didn't get there last year, we look forward to eating there this year.

this restaurant was recommended to us, although we waited some time to place our order, we were not disappointed by the quality of the food and it was well priced overall... The staff were friendly and helpful.
