Best fish and chips I have ever had, even my husband liked it, and he hates most fish! Later found out that we had Tuna for the fish. They only take cash and have very specific hours.

The best fish and chips we've ever had...ever. Eat under tree or in you car, doesn't matter. Well eat here every time in Astoria.
I had reservations as reviews said this was tuna and I'm a cod/halibut gal. But oh my gosh! My husband and I agreed it's the best fish/chips we've ever eaten and we couldn't believe how reasonable it was. There's usually a line but you can call in your order. We went back the next day. Hubby liked the place so...

We come here all the time from Hillsboro, OR (about 85 miles) just for the food. I wouldn't drive that far for very much. This is the hands down best fried fish I have ever eaten. I won't eat anywhere else when I am in Astoria.
The reviews say it all. The best fish and chips! We were lucky. No line, no rain, just great friendly service and wonderful, rich, crispy, fish and chips.
On a beautiful day, this is a perfect place for the unplanned picnic! On a cloudy day, this will warm you up. The line is long and worth it. The fish is delicious, the french fries (aka CHIPS) are yummy, and the cooks are friendly. There is a huge tree to relax under as you munch away, or sit on...

The best fish and chips ever. Even my wife that doesn't like fish loved it. The line wasn't even that long.
A whole new concept for fast fish food. Served out of decomissioned gillnetter, line up for deep fried tuna and chips. Little om the rich side but full of flavor. Take your bounty over to the picnic table and enjoy!!! Above Columbia River and incredible location. Bring a heavy coat!!!
The meal costs, but the harassment is free! :) Great gals don't start frying until you place the order. Small line, took about 20 mins to get from the bottom of the stairs to having fresh food in my hands. Light, crispy batter with chunky, meaty flesh. Didn't feel ripped off! Humorous conversation while we waited between the cooks and...
