This use to be my favorite Italian restaurant, but since my last visit, it seems the restaurant has undergone some changes in the kitchen. The service is still professional and friendly, but the food was just off this time. I ordered: 1. Octopus Carpaccio - still consistent and my favorite item on the menu. 2. Fried Squash - very different... More

We heard good things about this spot having a great happy hour, so we made our plans around that. The pizzas are 50% off, which is incredible. I would have happily paid full price however because they were delicious. I realize that pizza is such a subjective experience, but this was easily one of the best I've ever had, which... More

We chose Domenica due to it's location and description as a "tapas restaurant". I am unsure if our opinion is a direct reaction to our waiter (awful) or otherwise because we saw plenty of people around us enjoying themselves. The menu was difficult to understand so when I asked our waiter if the "small plates" were the size for 3... More

Pizzas were very interesting. They let you order different halves...2 pizzas but 4 types. Dinner was excellent, loved the red fish. Chocolate dessert with orange peel was yummy as was the ice cream with espresso sauce and small donut holes. It is loud so go prepared or choose another if quiet and intimate is what you desire.

We own a home in Italy and are Italian citizens. So coming back to wrk in the South and in the states pales in comparison to the food. you eat in Italia. But when it comes to the few restaurants tat can tie to toe with the best of them, Domenicas is one of the best. It has a nice... More

Was anxiously awaiting dinner after its James Beard nomination. Service was outstanding. Courses were spaced and well times. Chabbata was pretty good (bit I am a total bread snob), kale was amazing, heirloom salad was basic but good, squid ink pasta with crab was excellent (tje only thing I thought was over priced at $18 for a small plate). The... More

This was my first experience at a Besh restaurant, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The food and service were good, probably slightly above average. I really liked the layout of the restaurant, the huge windows across the front, and the fact that the servers don't have to wear uniforms. We started with a meat and cheese... More

I've eaten lunch here about a half dozen times, mainly because of its location near a place I have to be for business, and I have to say that I've been mildly disappointed each time. The pizzas always sound great on the menu, but what shows up on the plate is a soggy, unevenly baked crust with inadequate topping. I... More

We started with the octopus carpaccio (best starter of our six day trip) based on a recommendation and short rib risotto (amazing.) We follower with the duck and sweet potato pizza (absolutely fabulous, best pizza ever) and the lamb ravioli (great flavors.) For dessert, we enjoyed and fruit tarte and pistachio and walnut pastry (both were superb.) We also dined... More

We ate dinner here while staying at the Roosevelt. Everything about this restaurant is worth a return. The service was courteous, professional and highly personable. We went for the pizza, observing how most were engaging in it delightfully. We chose no meat, just sauces, cheeses & veggies. Delicious, light crust , fresh ingredients, and piping hot! Cold beers, several selections... More
