We did the "Feed Me" and loved it. Out 2nd course was quail in a roux with greens. Unbelievable!! We had to get another basket of bread so we could sop up the sauce once we had licked the bones clean. I could have eaten that dish all night!

Once again this place rocks. Small intimate dining w/ out standing food. The wine list needs serious help though. Service was great .I love eating here and will go back next time I am there
I read about Louisiana Bistro on Tripadvisor and intended to get the "Feed Me" option. However, you need to be an adventurous eater to make the cut . Our waiter pre-screened us and told me I was borderline (my husband made the cut but it has to be everyone at the table or no one), so after speaking with the...

A quaint 12-table restaurant with supreme food and helpful, unpretentious staff. We had the surf&turf cajun tenderloin with crawfish scampi & aspargus and also shared the drum, a local fish with a buttery pecan sauce, Cheesecake balsamic ice cream waaay better than it sounded. Best of the fine restaurants we sampled. I'll be back!
We tried the 3 course "feed me" meal and it was unbelievably delicious! The first course was a mirliton stuffed with a crawfish dressing with a spicy sauce....delicious! The second course was escalar (fish) over roasted peppers with a jalapeno cream sauce. The third course was buffalo short ribs over sweet potatoes. We have the privilege of having enjoyed numerous...

We had the "feed me" (chef's choices) dinner. What fun to be surprised at the preparation, and delighted with the flavors and care. Small and quiet but do not be afraid to smile and have a great time!
We were staying in the French Quarter and got back after a long cold at Jazzfest, and were looking for a nice meal close to the hotel. This was the closest restaurant so we went. And happily surprised we were.our waiter warned us about the chef/ owner being a bit ,ah, different. For instance, when we asked for a recommendation...

Enjoyed a romantic candlelit dinner with my wife. Made reservations with no problems. Very professional staff. I had the Louisiana crawfish and shrimp etoufee. Was very well seasoned. There is a feed ne menu where chef decides what to make but did not have the time becuse it is three courses. Better than some of the older restaurants in New...

We saw this small restaurant one day we walked by and decided to try it. I have to say it was one of the best meals we had in New Orleans. The server's recommendations were just what we loved! Try the bbq shrimp and dip the bread in the sauce, omg! Another must eat is the filet with crawfish. The...

We'll echo the top marks given by everyone for the inventive, top-rank food served at Louisiana Bistro. I reluctantly ordered the cheesecake ice cream for dessert---sounded a little gimmicky---but it was just wonderful. The service was the most personable we're received in a week of fine dining here in New Orleans. Liz took care of us, but two other waiters...
